President instructed to adopt the new Construction Code by the end of the year

In his Address to the Nation, the Head of State noted that 19 million m² of housing were commissioned in 2022 and stressed the need to improve construction quality:

“To improve construction quality, it is necessary to actively implement Building Information Modelling with the use of artificial intelligence technologies. The Government should launch a national digital platform to provide full accounting, planning, and monitoring at all stages of the construction process,” the President said.

He added that the new Construction Code should serve as a solid legislative foundation for the sustainable, transparent, and safe development of the construction industry.

“This document must be adopted before the end of the year, and I call on Members of Parliament to support this effort,” he emphasized.

These and other initiatives will be discussed by construction industry experts during the business program of the International Exhibition of Construction Machinery, Equipment and Technologies CM EXPO 2026, which will be held on April 1–3, 2026. Reserve your stand via the link.
